On the motion of several rigid bodies in an incompressible non-Newtonian and heat-conducting fluid

چکیده
Over the past years, there has been a great impulse in studying the motion of a rigid body. We would like to quote the work of Brenner [2] concerning the steady motion of one or more bodies in a linear viscous liquid in the Stokes approximation as well as Weinberger [18], [19], Serre [16] regarding the fall of a body in an incompressible Navier-Stokes fluid under the action of gravity and Borchers [1] for the existence of weak solutions. We would like to distinguish that there are two different problems. First one which is modelling the motion of fluid around a moving body with prescribed velocity see work of Galdi, Hishida, Farwig, [6, 7, 8, 9, 12]. The another problem is the motion of rigid bodies in a viscous fluids, which satisfies the second Newton’s law and the conservation of momentum of momentum. In our paper we will deal with the second problem. We consider the motion of one or several rigid bodies in a viscous fluid occupying a bounded domain Ω ⊂ R represents an interesting theoretical problem featuring, among others, possible contacts of two or more solid objects. We will consider the problem of rigid bodies in viscous non-Newtonian fluids where both are heat conducting materials. Using penalization method developed by Conca, San Martin, Tucsnak and

Local pressure methods in Orlicz spaces for the motion of rigid bodies in a non-Newtonian fluid with general growth conditions
In the present paper we provide the decomposition and local estimates for the pressure function for the non-stationary flow of incompressible non-Newtonian fluids in Orlicz spaces. We show that this method can be applied to prove the existence of weak solutions to the problem of motion of one or several rigid bodies in a non-Newtonian incompressible fluid with growth conditions given by an N -f...

Background: The interaction between the blood and the vessel wall is of great clinical interest in studying cardiovascular diseases, the major causes of death in developed countries. Objective: To understand the effects of incorporating fluid-structure interaction into the simulation of blood flow through an anatomically realistic model of abdominal aorta and renal arteries reconstructed from CT...
متن کاملNon-Newtonian thermal convection of eyring-powell fluid from an isothermal sphere with biot number effects
This article investigates the nonlinear, steady boundary layer flow and heat transfer of an incompressible Eyring-Powell non-Newtonian fluid from an isothermal sphere with Biot number effects. The transformed conservation equations are solved numerically subject to physically appropriate boundary conditions using a second-order accurate implicit finite-difference Keller Box technique. The influ...

The motion of temperature dependent viscosity and thermal conductivity of steady incompressible laminar free convective (MHD) non-Newtonian Casson fluid flow over an exponentially stretching surface embedded in a thermally stratified medium are investigated. It is assumed that natural convection is induced by buoyancy and exponentially decaying internal heat generation across the space. The dim...

Shoulder geometry of tool plays an important role in friction-stir welding because it controls thermal interactions and heat generation. This work is proposed and developed a coupled rigid-viscoplastic numerical modeling based on computational fluid dynamics and finite element calculations aiming to understand these interactions. Model solves mass conservation, momentum, and energy equations in...
